Diagnostic services — advanced testing
At Laser Vein Co we provide a Specialist vascular diagnostic service with comprehensive, non-invasive testing for outpatients. Venous ultrasound assists doctors in providing a suitable treatment plan. All patients must be referred by a General Practitioner or a Specialist; a report with an accompanying worksheet is generated and sent to the referring doctor.
If a serious condition is discovered during testing, our Senior Vascular Technician will immediately consult with Mr Milne to take the appropriate course of action. For any questions please call (03) 9509 9055.
Who will be doing my tests?
One of our experienced sonographers, specifically trained in vascular examinations. Interim results are provided immediately after the examination. A treatment plan is then discussed with our Specialist Vascular Nurse, and our administration team will provide an estimate. If you proceed, a consultation with Mr Milne is arranged and a treatment date scheduled.
What will I need to bring?
Please bring your referral if your physician has not already faxed or emailed it to us.
