Your Patient Journey

At Laservein Co, your journey is guided by a Specialist Vascular Surgeon from start to finish, ensuring the highest level of expertise and safety. Unlike clinics that offer limited options, we provide a comprehensive approach—from your first consultation and on-site duplex ultrasound to a personalised treatment plan and follow-up care. You’ll receive a clear explanation of your anatomy, a written summary of options, and an accurate quote before any procedure. Our process prioritises comfort, transparency, and evidence-based care, so you can make informed decisions with confidence. Whether your concern is cosmetic or medical, we tailor your treatment for the best long-term results.

Step 1: Initial Contact

Make an appointment with Laservein Co. A referral from your GP is recommended for sharing health information and claiming a Medicare benefit.

Step 2: First Consultation

Your surgeon will review your health and vein concerns. Most varicose/spider veins are harmless. If symptoms exist (pain, itch, inflammation, clots, ulcers, bleeding), a Doppler Ultrasound is offered (Medicare subsidised). Cosmetic-only concerns are not subsidised.

Step 3: Diagnostic Imaging

A Duplex scan is available immediately with our vascular sonographer. The surgeon explains findings and their significance.

Step 4: Treatment Planning

Discussion of risk-benefit ratio and treatment options. You receive a map of your vein anatomy, a written explanation of options, and an accurate quote.

Step 5: Decision & Timeline

If urgent, treatment is prioritised. Otherwise, you can proceed immediately or take time to consider. Typical journey: 6–12 months (treatment + follow-up).
